W10788 Very rare Victorian hogget or decanter on stand, the waisted neck cut with notched broad flutes, the body cut all over with cross-cut diamonds surrounding a large, plain oval lenticle or porthole. The pointed base of the decanter is cut with radiating mitre flutes. Original matching angular octagonal hollow blown stopper. Turned mahogany fitted stand. Circa 1870.
