The Glass | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
For over five decades we have been known all over the world for dealing in fine English and Irish antique table glass. Our extensive stock normally comprises pieces from the early 18th century to the Art Deco period of the 1930s. We specialise in decanters (including claret jugs and wine ewers), often carrying over a 100 examples, 18th century wine glasses, 19th century rummers, goblets, port and sherry glasses, tumblers and champagne glasses, as well as bowls, dishes, candlesticks and table lustres.
A Shire book on decanters, Decanters 1760-1930 by David Leigh, is now available. |

The Keyboard Instruments
For over twenty-five years David Leigh has been renowned for his knowledge and restoration of antique keyboard instruments. 17th and 18th century harpsichords, spinets and clavichords, and 18th and 19th century grand and square pianofortes restored by David Leigh are to be found in many countries around the globe. In association with Acanthus International Records of Switzerland, David Leigh, who is also a professional solo harpsichordist, has been engaged on an occasional series of recordings on some of these restored instruments under the title Harpsichords: Historic, Rare and Unique.
